Parascak earns WHL Rookie of the Week and Rookie of the Month honours

Terik Parascak isn’t slowing down in the playoffs.

The PG Cougars “Super Rookie” was named the WHL’s Rookie of the Week for the sixth time this season, as well as the WHL’s Rookie of the Month for the third time.

The product of Lethbridge, Alberta finished March with 13 goals and 11 assists in 12 games in March.

The 17-year-old scored four goals in two games this past weekend as the Cougars opened their playoffs series against the Spokane Chiefs.

On Friday, Parascak sent the hats flying as he scored three goals in Prince George’s 6-1 game one win.

On Saturday, Parascak put game two on ice with an empty netter in a 7-4 win.

The 5′ 11″, 179 lb winger is ranked 14th among North American Skaters by NHL Central Scouting ahead of the upcoming NHL draft.

Parascak and the Cougars will look to put the Chiefs on the ropes, as they travel to Spokane for game three tomorrow.
