Cariboo Regional District issues evacuation order for 135 parcels

The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) has issued an evacuation order for the Loosk’uz (Kluskus) area.

In a release from the CRD, they say the order replaces the entirety of the Loosk’uz area alert issued on Wednesday, July 12th.

The evacuation route was given by the CRD saying to head East on 3900 Road or 4000 Road towards Nazko Road then to Quesnel, continue North on Highway 97 to the Emergency Service Centre (ESS) Reception Centre in Prince George.

The order put in place covers 333,972 hectares.
