Adverse Weather Reason For Planned Closure Of Highway 20 West Of Anahim Lake

A travel advisory was issued earlier this afternoon (October 27)  for Highway 20 west of Anahim Lake.

Drive BC is reporting the advisory is in effect between Hunlen Falls Turner Lakes Trailhead and Rainbow Range for 19.7 kilometers (34 km east of Firvale to 38 km west of Anahim Lake)

Starting at five this afternoon Drive BC is also reporting on that same stretch of highway, a road closure is planned in both directions due to adverse weather in the area.

The next update is scheduled for 10 o’clock tomorrow morning (October 28).
