100 Mile House RCMP responded to an early morning incident near Forest Grove on Friday.
Sergeant Brad McKinnon says the police response resulted in a temporary road closure along Canim Hendrix Lake Road, where a suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The investigation continues, but McKinnon says there is no longer any risk to the public.
