Young Cariboo hockey players scored big thanks to a generous donation from a Montreal Canadiens goaltender.
Williams Lake’s Carey Price supplied hockey equipment to kids who would be otherwise shutout from owning any.
His father, Jerry Price explains, that his son’s donation was a team effort.
“CCM provides him his equipment and everything so they come with up with the idea that Carey could donate some equipment through the partnership with CCM, they’d get the best bang for their buck so CCM can participate and carey could participate, so that’s how it all started”.
Price says that Carey is very grateful for people in hockey, and people in the Williams Lake, Anahim Lake area and the Cariboo Chilcotin that helped him along the way and that he hasn’t forgotten where he came from.
