Wranglers Add ex-Cougar Hanson

The 100 Mile House Wranglers have turned to the Cariboo Cougars once again to fill a hole on their roster.

Coach Dale Hladun is pleased to have left winger Alex Hanson joining the club in time for Saturday’s home opener.

We got Alex Hanson coming in. The fans haven’t seen him yet, but we got him out of Prince George where he was playing major midget. He’s a big, strong, skilled kid from Whitehorse, and he’ll play a role with our club.”

The Whitehorse native – conservatively listed at 5’9″ and 180 pounds – scored 6 goals and 15 points in 37 games in a depth role with the Cougars last season.

Something going on in the Cariboo you think people should know about?
