CRD Unveils New Accessible Trail in 108 Mile Ranch

The Cariboo Regional District welcomed another accessible trail to its collection last week – this time in the 108 mile ranch.

The trail is part of the second phase of trail upgrades that saw the CRD spent over eight hundred thousand dollars to improve sixteen trails throughout the Cariboo.

CRD Area F director Al Richmond explains one of his favourite features of the new trail

“The 108 Trail encompasses four different bridges that cross creeks and things. So, there’s actually four bridges that are part of that trail system. The covered bridge is unique, while the others are more designed to so that kids can see through and look through the side safely.”

The one oh eight trail links up with Sepa Lake to stretch over seven kilometres with a variety of different challenge levels ranging from low mobility all the way to black diamond.

Something going on in the Cariboo you think people should know about?
