An arrest has been made following a suspicious fire in Williams Lake.
RCMP were called in to assist the fire department in the investigation of a grass fire near the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Yorston Street yesterday afternoon just before two o’clock.
Police say they were able to identify a suspect through witness accounts and a review of available video footage.
The suspect, facing one count of Arson, has since been released on a promise to appear in court on October 16th.
RCMP say further investigation has revealed that there may be other video footage available and they are asking the public to come forward with any video evidence they may have.
