A grass fire on the side of highway 97 caused concern Wednesday afternoon.
100 Mile House Fire Rescue responded to the fire near 103 mile at about 2:15 PM and had it quickly extinguished.
Traffic control was on scene and one lane northbound on Highway 97 was closed off as crews worked.
There is no word on the cause of the fire at this time.
