The 24th annual Business excellence awards were held in 100 Mile House on Saturday night by the South Cariboo Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber also gave its annual citizen of the year award. The gala event was sold out and featured entertainment by magician and comedian Clinton W. Gray.
The list of nominees for citizen of the year included many people who went above and beyond the call in many areas during last years wildfires. This years South Cariboo Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the year is Shane Gunn
