A of couple businesses in 100 Mile will be receiving a new exterior look courtesy of a project with the Northern Development Initiative Trust.
The District of 100 Mile House City Council renewed the 2018 Business Facade Improvement Program, giving 20 thousand dollars to 4 different projects.
Two of those projects are already completed in Most Wanted Contracting on Alpine Avenue, and Owen Square on Birch Avenue. The Westwood Motel on Taylor Avenue is still in progress and the Retail Storefront on Birch Avenue is not yet complete.
Some of the improvements will include wheelchair ramps and wider doors to help with accessibility issues.
