Cariboo Central Search and Rescue respond to early morning call

Slippery road conditions had Central Cariboo Search and Rescue responding to a single motor vehicle incident earlier this morning.

Director of Search and Rescue, Rick White describes what happened.

“Our unit was called out at ten o’clock to the Palmer Lake Area on Highway 20 for a single vehicle M-V-I. When they were on scene they found one vehicle rolled over on its side.

When asked about the condition of the driver White said he didn’t know but was told that he got out of the vehicle on his own accord and was waiting for the ambulance.

With the conditions on Highway 20 being snowy and icy White encourages motorists planning to travel on it to slow down.
