wl salvation army needs help recruiting volunteers for their kettle campaign

Many hands make light work and they also keep the Christmas Kettlebells ringing during the holiday season.

This year the Williams Lake Salvation Army is in need of volunteers, many volunteers, to man their kettles in all six locations throughout the Lake city.

Pastor and Corp Officer Stephen French says Williams Lake is a very generous community when it comes to volunteering but there are other factors that do come into play.

“The needs are so great in Williams Lake, and practically every part of Canada these days, that there are other agencies doing good work to help people and each one is sort of reaching out for a bit of help from the same individuals and therefore it may not be as easy as it has been in the past”.

French says anyone who would like to donate a couple of hours to man one of their Christmas Kettles call Sandra Dickson 250-267-18-67 or himself 250-267-80-64.

The Williams Lake Salvation Army kettle campaign runs now until December 24th.
