Bringing you home for the holidays, that’s this years theme of Operation Red Nose.
Dave Dickson, Manager of Community Safety for the City of Williams Lake will be head manning this service for the tenth straight year and here he explains how it works.
“Leading up to Christmas on the Friday and Saturday night we provide safe rides home to people who wish a safe ride home. We also take their vehicle and it is totally no cost. We are strictly donation based”.
Dickson says this service is not only available for anyone who has been drinking, anyone who doesn’t feel comfortable driving in some weather conditions can give them a call as well.
Operation Red Nose will begin providing rides home starting this friday night from 9pm to 3am.
