The first real snowfall of the winter caused some problems in 100 Mile House this morning.
RCMP were called to report of a head on collision on highway 97 just south of Easzee Drive near the 108 mile ranch between an SUV and a pickup truck.
All occupants involved in the crash were taken to the 100 Mile House Hospital for what was believed to be non-life threatening injuries, but CPL Brian Lamb says the sole occupant of the SUV has since been transferred.
“The female in the SUV we believe has significant injuries, she has been transferred to hospital in Kamloops just for further treatment.”
Lamb says the collision remains under investigation but road and weather conditions at the time were a factor.
Police would like to remind motorists to adjust their driving to the road and weather conditions as snow is expected to continue for the next couple of days.
