Large Power Outage In Quesnel

Power is out to more than a thousand BC Hydro customers in the Quesnel area.

Dave Moser says the outage is west of town basically extending from Bouchie Lake out to the Nazko area.

He says 1,325 customers are effected and it went out at 3-02 this (Oct 20) afternoon.

Moser went on to say that they are not sure when the power will be restored but he says they do have crews on scene working on the problem.

What caused the outage is also an unknown at this point.
