The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit BC has taken down two Quesnel men in a drug bust that netted drugs, weapons, and cash.
The investigation into the duo’s activities started back in January ending with their arrests this month.
The pair, a 29-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, were busted with 728 grams of meth, two ounces of cocaine in both powder and crack, more than 100-thousand dollars cash, and several edged weapons.
Police also found several vials of liquid which has been sent away for testing, but it is suspected to be steroids.
Both men are known to police but don’t have any known gang ties or criminal record.
They have been released on a promise to appear and charges are expected to be laid in the near future.
