The 100 Mile House Wranglers wrapped up their final exhibition game last night in Revelstoke tying the grizzlies 4-4.
Head coach of the Wranglers Dale Hladun says the Grizzlies came out like a team trying to send a message.
“They know that we were the big dogs and they want to knock us off our mountain. So they came out real physical, tried to get greasy and a little bit of roughness. It was a definite exhibition game, it was hardworking, physical, bunch of kids that are trying to make a team but it was very scrambelly to watch.”
Hladun says with the regular season just around the corner the Wranglers roster will slowly begin to take shape as they are still waiting for the return of some players who are either still working or trying out for Junior A teams.
The Wranglers regular season opens in Summerland this Friday against the Steam, puck drop goes at 730pm.
