The day started on a sour note weather wise but ended with sweet success.
Ten merchants took part in Williams Lake Big Brothers and Big Sisters “Big Squeeze” lemonade sale yesterday from 10 until 2 to raise money for their mentoring programs.
With the final total is Melissa Newberry, Excutive Director of Big Brothers and Sisters.
“The numbers are incredible. We raised for all programming in Big Brothers and Big Sisters $1315”.
The next fundraiser for Williams Lake Big Brothers and Big Sisters is the 24th Annual Tour De Cariboo on September 10th.
