A man was witnessed attempting a purse snatching in 100 Mile House in the downtown area.
Police report the attempted snatching was witnessed on March 20, on the 300 Block of Birch Avenue around midday.
A male suspect, described as Caucasian and wearing a black toque, was seen trying to take the purse from an elderly woman.
Sergeant Brian Lamb reports the male “left in a black Dodge Ram 1500 single cab pickup that had damage to the box.”
He says Police have made several inquiries around the area, but have not been able to locate the suspect, nor the elderly woman involved in the incident.
Police say they would like to speak with the woman to determine more information to what happened.
