Major property damage has been committed in a hit-and-run incident in 100 Mile House.
The RCMP says they received a report of mischief to property and a hit-and-run in the 700 Block of Alpine Ave on March 16.
” A grey Dodge Ram 2500 truck was observed hitting a parked vehicle and a garage door of a business,” says Sergeant Brian Lamb. “Then shortly after, [the truck] crashed through a chain link fence causing significant damage.”
Lamb says the driver of the truck was a Caucasian female with long brown hair, wearing a sleeveless shirt.
“There was some evidence left at the scene that’s assisting police with the investigation.”
Police are asking any witnesses or anybody with information to contact the detachement.
