100 Mile and District area residents are advised the emergency room at 100 Mile District General Hospital is closed.
Interior Health says emergency services will be unavailable as of 11 a.m. this morning until 7 p.m. tonight, Saturday, March 1.
People in need can access care at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake.
Interior Health advises anyone unsure whether care at an emergency room is warranted can call Healthlink BC at 811. Or visit healthlinkBC.ca for non–emergency information.
Anyone in need of life-threatening emergency care should call 911 for transport to the nearest available and appropriate facility.
