Gibbon Road Structure Fire Update

**Update**

The Williams Lake Fire Department remains on the scene of a structure fire on  Gibbon Road off of Dog Creek Road.

Fire Chief Evan Dean said they were called out just before 12-noon (Friday)  and upon arrival found a single family dwelling with smoke and flames showing from all sides.

Dean said the residence was confirmed to be vacated and there were no injuries.

He appreciates the public’s patience with regard to local road closures and said the 150 Mile Volunteer Fire Department tender support is very appreciated.

Crews are still on scene working with an excavator.

The Williams Lake Fire Department continues to battle a structure fire on Gibbon Road off of Dog Creek Road.

They responded to the incident earlier this afternoon (Friday) along with other Emergency Services.

The 150 Mile House Fire Department is also assisting in the firefighting effort.
