Second suspect arrested in connection with home invasion in Quesnel

RCMP confirm that a 26-year old male was briefly taken into custody before being released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.

Quesnel RCMP were called to a home in the 300 block of Hoy Street this past Sunday morning at around 2:10 a.m.

Police say that two suspects broke into a residence, sprayed the victim with bear spray, and damaged several items before leaving.

The suspects were identified as a 22-year old woman and a 26-year old male who was reported to be in possession of a handgun.

A search warrant was then conducted at a second location in the 400 block of North Fraser Drive.

RCMP say a female suspect was arrested outside but there was no sign of the male.
