Elections are coming up for both the ?Esdilagh and Nazko First Nations later this month.
?Esdilagh First Nation has an election scheduled for December 9th.
Incumbent Chief Troy Baptiste is being challenged by Chad Stump and Anthony Johnny.
There are also six people running for three Councillor positions.
Bill Baptiste is the only incumbent running and the names of Jeff Magwood, Donelda Mitchell, Roy Stump, Norma Stump, and Venessa Hickman will also be on the ballot.
Nazko First Nation also has an election on December 13th.
Voting will take place in town at the Seniors Centre and at the Health Centre on the reserve.
Leah Stump has been acclaimed as Chief, and there are four people running for two Councillor positions.
They are Delores Alec, Anthony Perry, Rachael Chantyman, and Evan Clemente.
