The BC Wildfire Service will be conducting pile burning along Dog Creek Road.
Burning will begin in a 12-hectare area on December 2 and continue until March 31.
The Ministry of Forests says that burning will be along the northeast side of the road across from Ottoman Drive and behind Centaur Drive and Cataline Drive.
Burning will happen any day that the venting forecast is good or fair.
The Ministry warns that smoke and flames will be visible from Dog Creek Road and along the south side of Williams Lake.
