338 days time served in jail and 12 months probation.
That was the sentenced handed down to 34-year old Daniel Cahoose, one of two people arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Williams Lake.
Cahoose, originally charged with aggravated assault, pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of assault.
51-year old Laura Taylor, who is also charged in connection with this incident, is due back in Supreme Court in February of next year for a Pre-Trial conference.
Williams Lake RCMP were called to a motel on 7th avenue back in May of last year.
Police said they were responding to a report of a person being stabbed multiple times.
RCMP say the victim was taken to hospital and was in stable condition.
Two suspects were quickly identified and were arrested at a home on 2nd Avenue with the aide of the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services.
