On Monday (October 28) 100 Mile House RCMP received a report of a single vehicle collision on the 8000 block of Highway 97 near Bridge Lake.
Staff Sargeant Brian Lamb said Police, Emergency Health Services, and local Fire Department’s attended the scene where a vehicle was found in the ditch on fire.
“A single occupant of the vehicle was located on the road by bystanders.” Lamb said, “ It’s believed the vehicle was heading eastbound on Highway 24 which left the roadway and truck a utility pole before rolling over in the ditch.”
The driver was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries that were believed to be non-life threatening.
Lamb said the exact case of the collision is not known at this time.
