Doerkson Gets 4 More Years To Represent Cariboo-Chilcotin Riding

A familiar face and voice will once again be representing the Cariboo-Chilcotin Riding in Victoria.

Incumbent MLA Lorne Doerkson, now a BC Conservative, has been given the nod by a large number of voters in the region to be their voice over the next 4-years.

“I am excited about the prospect of representing Cariboo-Chilcotin. I have been incredibly proud to do that work and have been immersed in it for the past 4-years and I can’t wait to get working again.”

Doerkson talked about some of the main concerns he heard from the voters in the region and what he’ll be focused on.

“No surprise Healthcare is definitely number one in the entire riding which is much bigger now than it use to be. Industry is also a massive concern to so many people and if there’s anything I will be advocating for is going to be to get our industry in a much more healthy situation. It’s just so important to all of our well-being here in the Cariboo-Chilcotin.”

Doerkson thanked his team and all the voters who put their trust in him.

“I want to make a promise to all of them that I will work extremely hard to represent this riding which I have been proud to do the last 4-years and I’m going to be exceptionally proud to do it for the coming four years.”
