BC United Cariboo-Chilcotin candidate Michael Grenier will be stepping away from this year’s provincial election.
Grenier made the announcement on Facebook, attributing the decision after the party suspended their campaign, and consideration with his campaign team and other former BC United candidates.
In his post, he gave thanks to his constituents for sharing their issues that matter most to them and their families, while also giving thanks to other politicians for their encouragement.
Grenier extended his best wishes to previous BC United candidates who are continuing to run as independents, and encourages Cariboo-Chilcotin residents to consider BC Conservative candidate, Lorne Doerkson.
The provincial election is scheduled for Saturday, October 19th.
