An upset of sorts kicked off the playoffs in Quesnel’s Super League of Curling last night.
The Billy Barker Casino broke open a tie game with 4 in the 5th end en route to an 8-3 victory over Essential Business Services, the top team in the regular season.
Other action on the A-side saw Sky High Scaffolding knock off Quesnel Lawn Care…also 8 to 3.
On the consolation side…the CDC doubled up on Service Electric 6 to 3.
Two in the 7th end and a steal of one in the 8th was the difference in that game.
And Karin’s Deli outgunned Gamache Construction 8-6.
