A second suspect, charged in connection with an armed robbery investigation in Quesnel, has now pleaded guilty in provincial court.
36-year old Jade Bennett has pleaded guilty to a charge of occupying a vehicle knowing that a firearm was present.
Four other charges, including possession of an unregistered firearm and possession of a firearm contrary to an order, were stayed.
Bennett was sentenced to 12 month probation and was also handed a lifetime firearms prohibition.
36-year old Robert Hovestad earlier pled guilty to a few weapons-related charges and is due back in court on September 24th to fix a date for sentencing.
Quesnel RCMP say they were called to the west end of the foot bridge on North Fraser Drive back in the early morning hours of September 13th, 2023 for a report of an armed robbery.
Police say the victim told them that he was attacked by three men with guns and batons, and that they assaulted him and took his wallet and backpack.
A suspect vehicle was then located and RCMP say they seized a sawed-off shotgun and a prohibited handgun.
Police said at the time that they believed this to be a targeted incident and that the suspects and the victim were known to each other..
