Jasper residents may be able to go home as early as Friday.
The Municipality of Jasper announced today (Monday), three weeks after 25,000 people were forced to leave the town due to wildfire, the Incident Management Team plans to have the re-entry criteria met by August 16th.
This means the town will have the minimum services to be safe for residents to return.
