City Of Williams Lake Gives Latest Update On River Valley Wildfire

Crews made significant progress on the Williams Lake River Valley wildfire yesterday.

Earlier today (July 23) the City of Williams Lake announced they are reopening access on Williams Lake for public and recreational use.

Mackenzie Avenue is also reopened with flaggers stationed at the River Valley entrance at Mackenzie Avenue and Comer Street and at the Station House Gallery at the foot of Oliver Street.

The City of Williams Lake reminds residents that the River Valley is an active emergency response area and is closed to public access and to stay out of the area.
