The Williams Lake Fire Department was called out earlier this morning to the parking lot at Ecole Nesika Elementary on Moon Avenue.
Fire Chief Evan Dean said they responded at around 6:16 to a report of a pickup on fire.
“When we arrived on scene it was fully involved. We had three apparatus respond and 11 firefighters and we were able to put it out relatively quickly. Crews were on scene for about 30 minutes as it was a relatively quick knock down and clean up.”
At this time Dean said the cause of the fire is suspicious and they have left it with RCMP to investigate.
