Paid On-Call Firefighters Wanted For The Williams Lake Fire Department

The Williams Lake Fire Department wants you!

They’re looking to bolster its ranks and is currently accepting applications for paid on-call firefighters to help provide a critical service to the community.

Deputy Fire Chief Brendan Foote says members provide Williams Lake with a valuable service that has far-reaching impacts and encourages anyone in interested in giving back to their community and being part of an amazing team to consider applying.

Applications will be accepted until Friday August ninth and applicants must live within the Williams Lake Fire Protection District.

Foote encourages anyone who is motivated, physically fit and over the age of 19 to consider a future in firefighting.

The Williams Lake Fire Department has created a 2024 recruit video which can be viewed on the City’s website.
