Williams Lake Fire Chief Evan Dean said just before 8 last night (Monday) they were called to Mayfield Avenue for a reported structure fire with occupants possibly trapped inside.

Dean said upon arrival it was confirmed that the single wide trailer had fire burning throughout its structure and the two occupants inside were able to get out of the building and taken to hospital by BC Emergency Health Services.

The fire spread quickly to three nearby vehicles, but firefighters were able to knockdown the blaze quickly.
