Around 550 graduates will walk the stage in either Prince George or Quesnel as a part of the College of New Caledonia’s class of 2024.
“Convocation is the pinnacle of the student journey. We are so excited for graduates who have set goals and dedicated themselves to their studies,” said CNC President Cindy Heitman.
“As we proudly celebrate their dedication and achievements, we also want to extend our thanks to their parents, spouses, children, friends, and CNC’s faculty and staff. Their continued support toward students’ personal and professional success makes all the difference.”
Three students will be receiving distinguished honours during the ceremonies:
- Kiaya Morrisey, Lieutenant Governor’s Medal for Inclusion, Democracy, and Reconciliation,
- Darien Davis, Mary John Award of Excellence,
- Julia Pryde, Governor General’s Academic Collegiate Bronze Medal
There are 1,125 graduates in this year’s CNC class, around 550 of which have registered to take part in the ceremonies.
The Prince George ceremony will take place on Thursday, and the Quesnel ceremony will take place on Tuesday. (June 11th)
