The Cariboo region could be in for a couple days of rain starting today.
Quesnel could see anywhere from 2 to 5 millimetres of precipitation fall throughout the day, with Thursday bringing between 5 to 10 in the day.
Meteorologist, Louis Kohanyi says Williams Lake will see something similar for Wednesday.
“We’re looking at about 2 to 5 millimetres of precipitation, and then on Thursday, similar to Quesnel’s, we are looking at about 5 to 10 millimetres of precipitation and potentially more rain on Thursday evening, so that would be an additional 2 to 5 millimetres of precipitation.”
Kohanyi says 100 Mile House is expected to only see rain on Thursday, forecast to see 2 to 5 millimetres of rain with the evening bringing 5 to 10.
The rain itself is due to an upper trough moving across the region, which will also bring some cooler temperatures and thunderstorms for Thursday.
Temperatures in Williams Lake and Quesnel will nose dive to around 10 degrees on Thursday, with 100 Mile House reaching 11.
