Overnight closure at 100 Mile District General Hospital emergency department for April 6th

Emergency department services at 100 Mile District General Hospital will be unavailable tonight and into tomorrow.

Interior Health is advising 100 Mile House and area residents of temporary changes to the emergency department hours, due to limited nurse availability.

They said emergency department services will be unavailable from 7:00pm on Saturday, April 6th, to 7:00am on Sunday, April 7th.

Anyone in need of care are able to go to the Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre, or Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.

Interior Health said when the Emergency Department is closed, in the event of an emergency call 9-1-1 or Healthlink BC at 8-1-1, which is a 24-hour service if you are unsure of your need to seek emergency care.
