Single family dwellings across Northern BC will be worth more according to BC Assessment.
Deputy Assessor, David Keough has the numbers.
“The vast majority are seeing a 0 to 10% increase in their property assessments with the exception of Tumbler Ridge which saw a 34% decrease. Values in Granisle, Kitimat and Fraser Lake will also go down.
Overall assessments in Northern BC increased from 57.3 billion in 2015 to 59.5 billion this year.
The increases will take effect on July 1st.
