Two Evacuation Orders Downgraded In The Chilcotin Area

The Cariboo Regional District’s Emergency Operations Centre downgraded two Evacuation Orders in the Anahim Lake area.

The Order in the Gatcho Lake Area issued on July 9th has been downgraded to an Alert.

And the Order in the Eliguk Lake Area issued on July 11th was also downgraded to an Alert.

The downgrades were made last night (Wednesday August 2) before 7 o’clock and the CRD stated in their release that effective immediately residents were allowed to return to the area.
