Williams Lake residents will be able to share their thoughts on the Marie Sharpe replacement school concepts today (July 31st).
Various renders will be showcased that are in collaboration with Williams Lake First Nation, the City, and the Cariboo Regional District.
Superintendent Chris Van Der Mark says this project is still in it’s early stages.
“This is all a concept, so the process hasn’t changed at all, it really is just a chance for people to see some ideas, some possibilities for not just the school district, but for the broader community as well.” says Van Der Mark.
Van Der Mark added that the goal is to let people talk about the idea for the replacement school, and see the possibilities.
Everyone is able to attend the Marie Sharpe replacement school proposal in the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex lobby from 3:30pm to 6:00pm.
