Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Williams Lake Area

Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, nickel to ping pong ball size hail and heavy.

This thunderstorm is just east of Soda Creek and is moving to the southwest towards Highway 97 north of Williams Lake.

Environment Canada says severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following:

Large Hail

Damaging Winds

Torrential Rainfall
