Williams Lake salvation army wants you

Volunteers are still needed to “ring those bells” as the annual Christmas kettle campaign is well underway in the Lake City.

Ben Lippers Pastor and Executive Director of the Williams Lake Salvation Army explains its importance.

“Our kettle campaign is going and as you know we do not see any governmental funding here and we do not get any gaming grants whatsoever. The lion share of our money comes from our Christmas campaign that’s cheques coming in and our kettles so we need to get volunteers on those kettles”.

In addition to the need of volunteers for their kettle campaign Lippers says help is also required for their annual Christmas dinner that will be held at noon on Christmas Day.
