Northern Health’s Imagine program taking applications

Community projects that promote healthy living can receive a financial boost through Northern Health.

Lead of Healthy Community Development, Mandy Levesque says their Imagine community grant funding support several criteria.

– Healthy eating and food security

– Physical activity and active living

– Injury prevention

– Tobacco-free communities

– Positive mental health

– Prevention of substance harms

– Healthy early childhood development

– Healthy aging

Applications are being accepted until February 29th with up to $5,000 dollars being offered.

The program has been in place since 2009.

Williams Lake RCMP says new Disclosure Unit has increased community involvement

Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sergeant Brad McKinnon addressed the Williams Lake City Council in a delegation with an update on police activity.
