Tuesday’s meeting of the District of 100 Mile House saw council approval a resolution to send a funding application to the Northern Development Initiative Trust (NDIT).
The application, filed under recreation, is aimed at securing 30,000 dollars of funding for the Demo Forest Improvement project and stands a pretty good shot at being accepted says Mayor Mitch Campsall
“It’s a good chance because it’s a good application. Our staff do a real good job when they are researching and putting these things together, so we don’t usually have any problems.”
Campsall says the likely acceptance of the application will allow the district to slowly but surely make the trails on the 99 mile hill “bigger and better.”
