Residents may notice some cloudiness in their water as the District of 100 Mile House is participating in some seasonal maintenance.
The District’s director of Operations, Phil Strain, has advice for anyone noticing an issue with their water for the next couple of days:
“If the public notices cloudiness in their water… they should just run their taps for a few minutes, maybe five to ten, and it should clear up.”
The water flush is a pretty standard maintenance item admits Strain:
“It’s standard for any municipality with a water system. It just makes sure we don’t get a buildup of anything in the system.”
The flush, which takes place twice a year, in spring and fall, should be done by the end of Friday (October 23).
