BC Coroners Service investigating death in Downtown Williams Lake Fire

Williams Lake RCMP are investigating the cause of a fire that took the life of one person.

Police were called to assist the Williams Lake Fire Department with a motorhome fire just after 11:30 last night.

According to police, after the blaze was extinguished and it was safe to enter the motorhome, one person was found deceased.

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.

Anyone with dash-cam video or any information on the fire is asked to contact the Williams Lake RCMP.

An investigation has begun into the death of one person in a Downtown Williams Lake fire.

Williams Lake RCMP was called to an area just off Mackenzie Avenue and Borland Street last night.

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed that one person died in the fire.

Police are expected to release more details soon.
