Samuel King Moses reigned supreme in Saturday’s silver gloves tilt with South Cariboo-raised Ken Huber.
Huber, the current B-C amateur champion in both cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, put up a valiant effort, but couldn’t keep the younger boxer down.
Despite the loss, Huber maintained equilibrium – thanking his supporters and team for their support in a facebook post.
The bout with King Moses was Huber’s last as an amateur, as the former Forest Grove resident plans to turn pro in the new year.
